Health desk- You can get rid of back pain at home. Back pain can be of severe type, it can be of poor sleeping position or it can be due to kidney problem or UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). If the problem is not due to the sleeping position then consult a doctor immediately.
If your sleeping position is not good then correct the sleeping posture, check the mattress, if the mattress is not good then buy a good quality mattress. Lie on one side, bend your knees and place a pillow under your knees.
You can try cold and heat pack therapy at home for pain relief. Start with a cold pack, it will reduce pain and swelling. Try doing this for 20 minutes 3 times a day. After a few days you can switch to heat pack therapy. Heat pack therapy uses a hot pack wrap with a towel to protect the skin and apply it to the affected area for 20 minutes. Heat therapy will relax muscles and increase blood flow.
Ways to get relief from back pain-
1. Walk regularly. This is the best exercise.
2 .Do not sit leaning on a stool or chair for long periods of time.
3 .Do not steal your life from physical labour. Muscles are strengthened by physical exertion.
4 .Do not sit or stand in the same posture for a long time.
5 .Don't be in a hurry to lift or keep anything.
6 .Instead of lifting heavy things, you should push them.
7 .Wear simple shoes instead of high heels.
8 .Be careful while going up and down the stairs.
9 .While sitting on the chair, keep the legs straight and not crossing one on the other.
10 .Do not put too high or thick pillow. It is better to use ordinary pillows.
Home remedies for back pain -
1 .Celery ( Ajwain)-
Celery is a very effective medicine for you. If your back pain is not ending then you should consume carom seeds. You first heat half a teaspoon of celery lightly on a pan and then eat it after it cools down. Chew it slowly and eat it and drink 1 glass of lukewarm water on top of it. By doing this experiment continuously for seven days, it gives 100% benefit in back pain.
2 .Compress with water-
Do not forget to compress with water to get relief from back pain. Compress the waist with lukewarm water only. Will get a lot of rest.
3 .Do exercise or morning walk-
Morning walk gives relief from many health related problems. To avoid diseases, do walk 2 miles. Morning walk will give relief in back pain.
4 .Apply mustard oil-
Mix three to four cloves of garlic in warm mustard oil. When the oil cools down, apply it on the waist. Will get a lot of benefit.
5 .Eat calcium-rich diet-
To get rid of back pain, take calcium-rich diet. By consuming calcium, back pain will be cured very soon and pain will be relieved.
6 .Hot compress-
Where there is pain, giving hot compress for 5 minutes and cold compress for two minutes gives immediate benefit.
7 .Long walk-
Those who go for a long walk of 2-3 miles in the morning at sunrise will never complain of back pain.
